One of the most elusive and secretive of Africa’s big five is the leopard. Usually alone, this large male weighing approximately 140 lbs was with his girlfriend. We spotted him first at night traveling the roads of the Sabi Sand in South Africa and then again the following day mating his female friend. He was quite preoccupied with his mating ritual which allowed us a good hour of photographing before he and his lady slipped off into the dense brush. He was a magnificent and beautiful leopard and the female leopard was gorgeous as well. ~NEILL
