I WAS THERE ®

We first spotted this handsome male leopard at night with a female leopard and then the next day in the Sabi Sand of South Africa. He was following his girlfriend when a noise distracted him for a moment. His sudden pause is what I wanted to portray in this painting. Adult leopards are loners and territorial and will only keep company with another leopard long enough to mate.     ~NEILL
